Alfalfa Production Program – Feb. 17^thHays

Farmers if you grow some alfalfa you might want to brush-up on how you can better maximize your alfalfa production.

Plan to join us Friday, February 17^that 12 noon for a free meal and a brief program. Topics of discussion will be good planting practices for conventional or no-till, tips for keeping a good stand – weed and insect control, fertility, cutting management and alfalfa cash rental arrangements and rates.

The program will be held at the Ellis County Extension office back meeting room at 601 Main Street in Hays on Friday, February 17^that noon.
